Did you ever get the emails yet?

My 13 year old son was handcuffed at school on Tuesday. Apparently someone said “gun” on the bus, so they searched all the students. My son said he doesn’t answer questions and does not consent to searches which angered the resource officer. The officer did not have his body cam on during the incident. I did a FOIA and he had the cam on before and after. Any suggestions other than filing a complaint? Pasco county

I've seen that it's very hard and expensive to do public records requests at some of these departments. It's probably easier to just file a bogus civil case (preferably one with no fees attached), file a motion for discovery during pre-trial, and then file a motion to dismiss after you get the records. Soon this will be the new standard to get records 🤣
