This is one thing I've never understood. And this is for and not even regarding HIPAA situations.

Stores. Pretty much every store. While there are cameras, there's NOTHING preventing an onlooker from watching me on the card machine. The cashier, if there even is one, isn't going to break out a bat and bust a looky-loo open. So, my privacy is basically a "please don't look" supposition.

You are in public with a shitty 5$ cafeteria table, and you're whining about privacy. Rent a trailer at the LEAST and do your business inside that.
