I forgot to mention that the crosswalk I was pointing out to the mororcycle "officer" is where a 10 year old boy was struck and killed by a car last December(2021). Nothing has been done for the safety of that intersection, including enforcement! Fine for blocking the box (intersection) = $500. Fine for driving through an active crosswalk = $168. 🙁

This cyclist need help. Clearly he could have stopped since the obstruction was on his lane.
It is not the drivers fault if you don't want to stop for object in your lane of travel.

Here is the bottom line, a car or truck that weighs 3,000 to 5,000 pounds. On impact, the car or truck ALWAYS wins no matter if right or wrong. It's called right of weight, and that is all that matters when your in the hospital licking your wounds about who was right. That's the bottom line. The car driver can be completely wrong, but the bicyclist is still in the hospital and frankly, my body is more important than just being right, so if your on a bike you always loose no matter. Sure you can sue, but your leg or arm will still be gone so it's a no win on a bike. If your going to ride a bike in PBC, make out a Will because you're not going to be around very long. That's just the way it is. A smart person would get rid of the bike, and invest in a full track TANK ! around here. And it's no better in all of South Florida. Ride a bike, hello hospital ! —- in my opinion.

Yeah, he could have gone around, but then the other grey SUV would have hit him, besides that's exactly what the cop brought up in the other segment… "you were not in the bike lane"… so f*ck that, if somebody stops abruptly in the bike lane and you can't stop, you CAN NOT be at fault… what a pile of bullcrap.

I ride a motorcycle, and it's bad enough having to avoid people driving vehicles who are trying to kill me. There's no way in hell I would be on a bicycle in traffic like that. Like the guy in this video, I would have constant road rage too if I were on a bicycle.

Randy, and Amanda – as a cyclist I appreciate you bringing the importance of watching for cyclists on the roadway up on this channel.
I don't live or ride in that kind of traffic, so I might take a different approach to "teaching" moments of cars neglecting to give right of way to the cyclist.
A simple screwdriver scratch down the door might leave a nice reminder to an entitled driver.
