Imagine that every week for years I wonder if this is being reported on this Captain’s tax’s?

This department issues police vehicles to officers but they are not take home vehicles. A week before this video was filmed I filmed this pickup truck in the parking lot it has no lights in it it is 100% a personal vehicle.

Are the officers who are filling up claiming the value of the fuel on their taxes. Seems like since its a personal vehicle not used for city/county/state purposes. That would make it a fringe benefit.

The above ground storage tank at 5:06 was installed December 2020. A 500 gal AST double wall fuel tank to replace the prior town hall emergency generator tank. Cost was $20,147.78 for the tank and installation. Per public records.
May supplement the 275 gal tank in the emergency generator enclosure.
The unleaded fuel pump is supplied by a 4000 gal underground storage tank installed February 2008, under the concrete slab at 0:10. A double wall tank and inspected every 3 years by FDEP.

what we already knew would happen, this Captain thief is directing his subordinate ( Bernard O’Donnell) on what to put in the theft report and how to clear him from wrongdoing.

Appears to be yet another felony committed by these cops. Leg irons soon

@AmandaAcura FYI: They also sale public office positions. My sister is married to a local Mayor’s accountant in NJ. My sister couldn’t finished college due to her early pregnancies, becoming a Mother. But, somehow, without any college education she is the school administrator. Another thing, police officers at our school put our Children at Great dangers due to not being “Surety Bonded” per state laws. They’re only insured by the states lacking their surety performance bonds

The fuel dispenser at the start of video, the hose and nozzle were replaced April 2014 after a "Drive Off" ($706.20) and then the nozzle was replaced April 2020 ($137.20) and a bad hose replaced November 2020 ($177.86).
As the UST and fuel dispenser are an unmanned facility, should display 24 hour emergency contact numbers per FAC 62-761.350 (1)(d). Saw no contact number on the sign or sticker on the cabinet. Fine that employees know who to contact but if anything happens a person (adjacent to golf course) has no immediate contact info.
The fuel dispenser cabinet likely has the tank level meter inside with printer but don't know if programmed to issue receipts or just the UST tank levels. A roll of thermal paper was last supplied Oct 2015 per invoices.

On fuel cost, last invoice was April 11 delivery, with fees and delivery was $4.16/gallon. Factoring the annual registration, insurance and inspections for the past year fuel deliveries, add $0.10/gallon. They are swiping $4.26/gallon.

It’s Not gas stealing !! Leader of This dirty gang will say it was authorized. Case closed. But it needs to be investigated by a news channel on how tax payers are funding Gang members gas. Where are the written rules and which department authorize the rule for free gas. That big truck takes a lot to fill up. So I’m guessing all the gang members are carrying of this practice. The chief needs to be pulled up and fired if he gave the OK.

Did you verify this was a personal vehicle? and how do you know he wasn't on duty? Most upper level law enforcement personnel don't work in uniform.

Good Journalism, but not a great investigation beyond reasonable doubt. Captains and above don't drive Police Vehicles as Cops do. The fact that the truck doesn't have lights does not means is not an official vehicle. OFFICIAL VEHICLES and LAW ENFORCEMENT vehicles have different policies and use. As a Captain or above in some jurisdiction of the US they can use their own if they are under any OFFICIAL CAPACITY. The case was supposed to go to the Office of Inspector General of Florida to investigate any misconduct and not to a local police. Is not about YouTube rating, is about reporting wrong doings the appropriate way and using the right channels; even if the building of the inspector general does not allow you to bring the camera inside you can still go inside and report the allegation for further investigation.
