these sobriety tests are crap if they really suspect a person of DUI they should go straight to breathalyzer and cut out this theatrical BS

anyone who submits to a field sobriety test has shit for brains to begin with, the prosthetic leg has no bearing on the matter. why in the name of ZUES's BUTTHOLE would you HAND cops evidence to use against you? would you hand them a baseball bat and invite them to beat the living shit out of you with it? would you hand them a vial of AIDS and ask them to infect you?

Im Australian and i know for a fact this is not lawful in the US. I saw it in a court case on one of The DUI Guy videos. These cops are out of control!

Amanda, all of us have seen cops do stupid stuff, but this one is beyond description. The FST isn't as reliable as a sleeping watch dog. It is totally subjective. it does not take into account physical problems such as the man in this video. Due to hip and knee problems I could never pass the test and I do not drink.

I did my last pony show years ago if you think im drunk take some blood and let me go. For anyone who has seen Breaking Bad a buddy of mine who moves and talks much like Walt Jr' got out of a nasty set of charges about 30 years ago now. About 5 of us piled into his truck after a keg party which was stupid but it was well after midnight and deserted country roads mostly. Half the way home we got lit up and we were freaking but my buddy stayed calm. Cop asked he said of course we were all drunk but not him. He gets out and starts walking they were shaking their heads realizing his 'normal' was drunk for everyone else.
'Get your asses home boys' was the response. He dodged a bullet that night

They know that those tests are not going to help them with their investigation, so why, do them? They should've never had done those once he told them he had a prosthetic leg, THAT'S MEDICAL EXEMPTION. Plus couldn't they see with their own eyes he had a prosthetic leg & think maybe we shouldn't do any of the balance tests, lets look at his eyes or smell him. And they should feel like idiots after they let him go.
