I dont know the full context however it could be perceived as a threat that the guy had his hands up walking towards the cop. As soon as you get within arms distance a punch could be thrown. Usually i think cops have done wrong but i clearly see him walking towards the cop quickly

….. comply or die. and for those who think these clips demonstrate that people do not follow commands immediately, it is because the culture of being hunted continuously by police, brings an atmosphere of knowing that they shout multiple commands simultaneously disorienting the prey they hunt. This young man may well be very familiar with the role of prey, thereby already having a reduced sensitivity to being barked at to do several different things at once. It causes confusion and exasperation, in any person, and this is taught in the military, but it ends up being a joke by the drill instructor. Stand up, sit down, turn around, blah blah blah …. to see this technique used all the time by police is unnerving. This video may not be the best example, but if you know it when you see it, I bet other commands were given prior, and the individual was desensitized to them, due to continuous exposure to it, as a fact of life on the streets..

Context matters 16 seconds isn't enough to pass any judgment, he kept walking towards the cop after being told to get on the ground that isn't giving up. Yes the foot on the neck is over kill and needless. I know there will be haters but 16 seconds of contextless info does very little in proving this or that so for me and others this is just a divisive clip meant to pull at strings nothing more.

His hands are up, dropped his jacket and was literally ON THE GROUND.

Zaps the guy, yells, "don't move" then immediately "let me see your hands".

Why do cops always get to use such foul language and not get reprimanded or terminated for it. Real world employment would not tolerate it. People have been and can get terminated just with an allegation of this type of spoken language.

You don’t even have enough information to put this into context based on what is shown. So without any context, you are willing to base a judgment on exactly what? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️😤👎🏾

I haven’t seen the full video, and all I’m seeing is this. But I did hear: stop moving, stop, turn around, get on the ground, get on the ground motherfucker and none of that shit happened.

That’s my synopsis on a 10 second video.

Number one he didn’t get shot and killed.
Number two the cop effectively communicated the intended actions.
Number three its dark out and this dude is approaching the cop while he is backing up.

Obviously that was not the move…

So what he got referred to as motherfucker.

I bet everybody on these comments trying to shit on this cop are obese, lazy, and untrained to defend themselves as well. Do not understand what context is and therefore are immature children, or worse. Immature adult age people.

i’ll offer an opinion after I see the whole situation, thank you very much. Then I’ll pass my observational opinion at that point as to the conduct of the suspect and the cop.
