There is no state law about jaywalking. Municipalities are political bodies and only have authority over their members and employees. You are not a member. You are not a resident, inhabitant or citizen. Those all belong to the corporation. You are not a corporate person. Towns don't create laws, legislation does. No jurisdiction

I do believe this is entrapment. Like I have already said, in numerous videos in Texas, California, Florida and most definitely Indiana, sure all of the states, if there are these many police officers doing prolific and petty arrests, with at least twice as many officers as necessary, then these police departments are overfunded, overstaffed and underworking. It's time for those unnecessary evils to go. We need our infrastructure and our residential mental health facilities more.

I agree that enforcing jaywalking in most situations is nitpicky and petty. One lesson learned here is that when in the effort of recording public official to ensure they are following the letter of the law is important to know and follow the laws ourselves. When we don't the price can be painful.
