Before long these frauditors are going to give governments all the fuel they need to pass laws further curtailing our freedoms. Local and state governments are already working on it. You can fight it in court, but one – you don't have the money for a prolonged legal battle, and two – the current hard rightwing supreme court is NOT going to side with youtube scammers. They will side with LEOs and government entities. This is the wrong legal climate to think you can win in a fight like this.

There is audio equipment and software that you can buy that will enable you to fully edit your audio. You can literally isolate and separate the music from your commentary. You should look into investing in this technology.

I think when cops play copyrighted music on *someone else's* video, the defense by the video owner should be pointing out that a third party was playing the music to interfere with the videographer's right to record – and had selected the copyright owner to be their "after-the-fact" accomplice. If the copyright owner has a problem with the music being played as part of a denial of civil rights, they should contact the person playing the music to advise them that they will be sued *by the copyright owner* (usually a mega-corporation) if it happens again *with ANY music that owner holds.*
OR they could side with the person playing the music and join the civil rights lawsuit as a co-defendant.
See if we can get the copyright owners to assist the public instead of the tyrants.
